"Value for money. Simple, comfortable."

Comfy little apartment. Had everything we needed: bed, kitchen and shower. Strood was an interesting neighbourhood to explore too. Good value for money.

Very comfortable bed Well equipped for the size Easy and smooth check in Good smart TV

Hot water was intermittent - shower temperature wouldn’t stay stable, was boiling then freezing. Poor water pressure, weak toilet flush. Grubby kitchen, hairs in sheets, hallway lightbulb was out (we replaced it). Smelly drains - kitchen sink bubbled up every time we flushed the toilet or ran the bathroom tap. Very bright emergency exit sign in the stairwell kept us awake all night. Decor and building in general was tired, needs a coat of paint throughout.

Perfect location, quiet flat clean flat.

Everything was ok. The only thing we haven't been happy with was the heating- it was none in the flat and it was very cold. We did have to use the gas cooker to heat up the room.
