The Castle Complex

The location, the cleanliness of the apartment and especially the quality of the restaurant were more than satisfying.

The floor was freezingly cold and we couldn't let our baby crawl. Many of the staff were speaking only Russian - neither native Bulgarian, nor English, which added up to that most of the rest who spoke Bulgarian, were not very friendly and rarely cooperative, drove us mad.

We went around 14:30 and the room was not ready. There were still belongings from previous guests and they had not been cleaned. It was a dark and cold apartment. Neither the host nor the reception were kind and were not constructive to rectify the situation. We did not stay and although the host said he would give a refund, he did not. I have been using booking.com for years and this is the first time I experienced something like this.
