The Willows Lovely Double Apartment

The apartment, the use of the beautiful gardens and the location. WOW! Eddie the owner and his beautiful dog Willow made the stay, such a lovely welcome. The location of the apartment is private and it is 2 minutes walk from Kilbroney Park and the Fairy Glen. Rostrevor is stunning. Its location by Carlingford Lough is so scenic. The local pubs and restaurants are brilliant and the staff welcoming and lovely.. So much to do, a must for walkers and hikers alike. Kodak Corner is an absolute must with stunning views of Carlingford Lough, Rostrevor , Warrenpoint bordering southern Ireland. The Mourne coastal route is a must to Kilkeel and on to Newcastle. Visit the Silent Valley for stunning views and peace and tranquility. Yes it rained, but don't let that put you off. Bring proper walking/hiking shoes and get out and enjoy what C S Lewis quotes as, "That Part of Rostrevor which overlooks Carlingford Lough is my idea of Narnia". It certainly was and we will be back for sure. Thank you Eddie and Willow. X

There are a few minor issues but nothing worth marking this property's score down for.

Very central and clean

Slightly small for comfort but was ample as we did a lot of sightseeing

The location was brilliant - right by the river and pretty much in the middle of Rostrevor but it still felt rural. Eddie was a great host.

I was travelling with my brother so the fact that the bathroom was off the bedroom was a little awkward but manageable. My brother used the sofa bed which he found very comfortable.

Beautiful location, host Eddie was very welcoming, very enjoyable stay, highly recommend and look forward to returning.

The host, Eddie met us on time and showed us the apartment. He was kind and considerate, going out of his way to make my daughter, her husband, baby and two cocker spaniels very welcome. He encouraged us to enjoy the gardens. He provided tea/ coffee biscuits and a few kitchen basics eg salt. Gracious host, would highly recommend.

Nothing, Eddie is a great host and the apartment was in a lovely location
