Altstadt Apartments

Es war ein besonderes Erlebnis, in diesem altehrwürdigen Haus zu übernachten. Es wurde mit viel Liebe zum Detail restauriert, und alleine die Balkendecke in unserer Ferienwohnung ist unglaublich. Es war alles da, was man braucht und die Lage ist super. In ein paar Minuten ist man an einer Bushaltestelle, beim Bäcker und in der Fußgängerzone.

Uns fehlte es an nichts. Es sind aber Stufen zu bewältigen und große Leute müssen in der Wohnung den Kopf einziehen.

Great location and the apartment was very spacious with lovely garden view to the rear of the property. The kitchen / dining / sitting room area was very comfortable.

The door frames and ceilings in the bedroom / bathroom area of the apartment were low and I had to continuously duck going from bedrooms to bathrooms which got very tiresome after a couple of days. Also, we were provided with one set of keys although we had booked 4 people in so had to continuously coordinate between us to ensure access to the apartment as street door had to be kept locked.

good communication. Hosts met us at the agreed check-in time and showed us the rooms. The apartment was well-equipped and comfortable. There is plenty of space for different uses... a long breakfast table in the kitchen, a long table in part of the open plan area and then into a relaxed lounge area. The kitchen was well organised with dishwasher/oven and hob/fridge freezer/microwave/coffee maker etc. I liked the logical and helpful layout of the light switches and I did like the artwork and colour coordination and general interior design... it was thoughtful and practical. Some of the furniture pieces around the room are delicate but the sofa is a good flop down and relax piece. A parking spot is reserved a few steps around the corner in a dedicated area and it felt safe even if open. Two WC's and a bath and shower are great for larger groups. Nights were quiet and the old town has its own charm while being a few mins walk to the old town and centre . We enjoyed this stay and for once our negative feedback antennae were not needed... happy to recommend.

Quiet and peaceful location in wonderful old town

A pity that there were no bikes available, despite the owner tried to arrange privately to arrange renting. Thanks to @radkombinat in Lüneburg who helped out in an outstanding manner.

Stayed in an apartment in a house built in 1570! remarkable 500 year old beams. And very spacious and comfortable rooms, full of character, fully equipped kitchen, seating areas. Very friendly host who explained details about the house and the town, Lueneburg (fantastic medieval town to visit in Germany), gave recommendations. Perfect location, very quiet area, and 2 minutes into town
