Location was amazing right best all local restaurants and bars. Stayed here while visiting for a wedding was the perfect size and had all we needed for the short stay. Host was able to answer any questions and help us with any check in issues

Location

I am very disappointed with how the host Alexandre treated us. During check-in, he sent me the apartment entry details and offered a transfer service. Out of curiosity, I asked for the price from the apartment to LISBON Airport, confirmed it, and scheduled. Instead, the transfer dropped us at FARO Airport, the opposite side of what I requested. I had to get out of the car, and pay for the wrong transfer. I immediately messaged Alexandre and he refused to refund for his mistake, also didn’t arrange another transfer, and only replied:“Get an Uber, there’s nothing I can do. I thought it was Faro Airport—requests are usually there. Besides, didn’t you realize the price was too cheap for Lisbon?” I answered: “You may have thought so, but I clearly requested Lisbon, and I have proof. I’m not expected to know transfer prices; you gave me the quote, and I trusted you.” He could have at least arranged another car or covered part of the cost, but instead, I spent 5x more (Lisbon airport was 3hrs away), under stress with heavy bags and nearly missing my flight. I suggested a fair solution and he just replied “ sorry there is nothing I can do and I won’t help with expenses.” After that ignored my messages, leaving us stranded at a distant airport. Finding an Uber to take us to Lisbon was difficult, and I barely made check-in, completely worried. This was disrespectful and inconsiderate, such an unacceptable neglect, and I wouldn’t wish anyone to stay with someone of that character. We also didn’t manage to open the gates for both terraces (one of the reason for choosing this property), the AC was strongly leaking making the floor wet, noise all night and none was sent to help because it was Saturday evening/Sunday. This is the first bad review I write in my life, and after 10 days I’m still waiting for his response. It’s not about the money I spent—I simply won’t accept being treated this way, he really didn’t care that his mistake put me in a really bad situation.

Amazing stay in Vilamoura! The apartment was beautifully furnished in a modern style and just a 2-minute walk from the marina – perfect location! It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen and a lovely balcony. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!
