Friendly owner and good price for apartment, good internet

Our blanked was without bedding (maybe its a comforter) but I think it should have a bedding. The sheet had a hole in it.

The marvelous central location, the comfort of the bed and the feeling that it was a great value for the money on a short visit to Podgorica.

The check in process and key collection was complicated because of a misunderstanding of the exact house address, plus, there are 4 different properties on the house and one doesn't know exactly in which floor it is and which is the right one that one must enter on the strong door entrance on the second floor and to collect the keys. This issue was solved relatively quickly by the host's mother who met me for the key delivery but this could be easily fixed with more accurate pictures or a self check-in key padlock on the proper door entrance. The bathroom is too small and when one takes a shower, uses the toilet or washes hands or cleans teeth, it's quite easy to have water spilled on the bathroom and the floor remains wet for a considerable amount of time given the fact that its carpet doesn't really absorb the water. Some stray dogs at night near the immediate streets could pose a small safety issue when one is returning from nearby bars, restaurants or cafes, not to mention their barking could affect guests' sleeping patterns. Finally, it would be nice that one could pay for the property by card via booking.com but it appears that this is not possible in various properties in Montenegro, Albania, North Macedonia and Bosnia.

The apartment is managed by a mother (Ivanna) and her daughter (Milena). Ivanna is a really warm and kind lady. The location is close to the bus station and railway station. You can walk to the city center in 10-15 minutes. Its a basic apartment and a good choice for a short stay (1 night).

I was texting Milena for asking the exact address (as I could not find it on google maps) but she is not very quick in answering. In the middle of the night, she texted me and asked me what time I would leave (this is inappropriate in regards to timing imho). The check out time is 10 am but she asked me to leave at 9 because she needed to clean the apartment and go to the village. You should better plan your schedule and not sacrifice your guest’s time.

The room was so close to bus station and easy to find. It was clean and big enough, it had all the kitchen supplies you need. The lady offered us Turkish coffee, she was so nice.
