Mintos Luxury Resort

The apartment was clean and modern, AC units in every room, parking in garage. Comfortably furnished and roomy. One full bathroom, one half bath with laundry machine, no dryer. It is above a Tommyʻs market so getting groceries was very convenient. It is across the street from the beach, about a 3 minute walk. The beach is rocky and has seaweed floating in the water so the water is not clear. They provide beach chairs and an umbrella to use while you are at the beach. It was nice to walk along the beach at sunset and see all the other beachfront properties with rentals too. The host family was very kind and responsive. I think they live nearby so there is always someone who can assist.

This apartment is on the 3rd floor from ground level or the 1st floor, not including the garage with no elevator. The title says "luxury resort" but I donʻt agree. It is not a resort and maybe luxury depends on your perspective. We stayed in other apartments in Croatia and this was not a good value for our money. We paid half this price for something that was actually a resort with a pool, tennis court, game room, beach front, etc. We chose this location to be outside of Split but nearby. The traffic going into and out of Split heading south is always backed up. There is only one road along the coast and it is always congested in the same place. We found a great take away spot while sitting in the traffic, Pacenjarnica Kokoda, that makes a juicy, tasty rotisserie chicken for 8€. Good, fast service and they take credit card. We probably wouldnʻt stay here again as it was pricey and there are a lot of other places to choose from outside of Split. You will need to bring your own condiments and spices if you intend to cook and your own toiletries. Toilet paper and dish and hand soap are provided.
