SP Stays Itaim FL Residence

It was near to our meeting venue - the Itaú Cubo.

They did not replace our toilet paper, and the front desk told us to go to a local store. On the Booking.com website it states that toilet paper is provided. When I asked, our host said that toilet paper was provided on checkin, but not after. We also complained that the towels/sheets were not changed during our stay. The response was that towels are changed once a week. That is not a normal hotel policy, and should be made clear on the Booking.com site. And our hosts should have offered to provide towels when we asked about the issue, rather than only explaining the once a week policy. Finally, we had a 2 day power outage within our room while we were there. The hosts explained that it was a problem that the power cables to the building were stolen. That was a strange explanation, as there was power in many other parts of the building. But whatever - no effort was made to help us travelers, just a passing of the blame to the electric company. The power was restored at about 1am during the 2nd night. I could be sympathetic to the power outage issue being potentially beyond the control of the hotel, but the other issues made this a very very poor stay.

The apartment was very nice, appropriately equipped, and secure. The team on the ground (not related to the host) was very professional and nice.

When I arrived, the apartment was not cleaned. Nobody in the building could help me and the help via WhatsApp took very long. They provided me with a hotel room for that night which was much less in quality and did not offer anything in exchange.
