Hayburg House

Lovely private balcony with braai and weber, nice kitchen and lounge area. Rooms spacious and clean. Wifi has good signal and speed. Location is very central and you could walk to shops, should want to. Lovely shared pool as well. Everyone was very friendly, the place was very clean, neat and lovely. Host very timely and responsive to questions. Overall had a good stay and would reuse the accommodation for future stays.

Only challenge we had was that their was small gas issue with the stove, that we had to turn off. This wouldn't affect future visitors, as this can be rectified. Minor note, the 2nd bed room aircon doesn't really cool the room, just blows air (double checked settings), doesn't get as cold as the main room, again this can be rectified and the area has cool nights so opening the window with fan did a sufficient job. Overall really had a lovely stay and I would recommend and revisit.

It was tasteful and shower terrific! Kitchen very adequate. Only two comfortable seats on sofa. Another chair or two would have been nice. Pool a treat.

As the elder travelling with son and his wife, I found children’s room had no light to read by and no plug to use fan on very hot night. No shelf I had to use kitchen chair next to bed. A plug would have solved my discomfort. No bars on sitting room window. Password in guest notes was not working. Had to phone to be redirected.

The aircon in the main bedroom as well as the space.

The cleaning lady was very friendly, but she was still at the place when my family arrived which was a bit uncomfortable. Also the cleaning schedule is a bit inconvienient. The fridge was also to small to accommodate all the groceries. The guests at the place was parking the yard full and access in and out from the parking space my family had was invonvienient and felt like we were demanding whenever my family asked them to move, we needed to ask the guests all the time to move in and out. There is also no diversity and inclusion at the shared facilities like the swimming pool. People move out off the pool whenever my family (we are coloured people) had a swim.
