IEThe whole stay was fantastic, the house was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed and more (from kitchen essentials and toiletries over cleaning supplies and logs for the fire to the cosiest bedding (the beds don't look it but they are incredibly comfortable!)). The sauna was great but we used it only once as we were warm enough already the whole time (stayed in January, I'd bring lighter clothes for indoors next time). The location is great as well, everything is within a couple minutes drive (supermarkets, Santa Claus Village, airport) but at the same time it's quiet and there's plenty of opportunity to go for a nice walk or sledding. Even though I was initially concerned about getting the check-in instructions on the day of arrival only, the communication with Hanne-Mari (who is also super nice) was great from start to finish; there's nothing she could have done any better. Would go again in an instant :)

DEIt is a very comfortable and spacious accommodation and has almost everything one needs. One should not forget that during winter, given the temperatures, a lot of time is spent indoors. Especially with a small child, it would have been unbearable for us to be confined to a small, fancy accommodation. The location is a major advantage. It is centrally located between all key places. We booked activities with three different providers, all of whom agreed to pick us up directly from the accommodation. General tip: skip the local taxis and use Uber instead. From the accommodation, we paid 21 € to Santa Claus Village, 11 € to the city center, and 28 € to the airport.
We really enjoyed spending the evenings by the fireplace and in the sauna. In addition, there were excellent opportunities for our child to go sledding right in front of the house and around the holiday resort, as well as to have snowball fights and build snowmen.
IEIESauna, was very important after cold days outside. We enjoyed having it. Fireplace was nice also, everything was nice and clean at the property. A Christmas present from the owner could make the stay magic but not necessary.
No complains. One thing about sauna,could be great to have a wood bucket attached with cold water autofilling, when getting out from sauna to be able to pull the rope and get splashed with cold water. Not critical.
