Reindeer Route Apartment

This becomes a home away from home. Its out of the way, its safe for kids, there are nature walks right next to where you're staying. The place was spotless, furniture was comfy and very inviting. The old addage of you dont holiday to stay in your hotel is applicable but where you are tired and in need of just a couch day, this place absolutely fits the bill. Privacy was good, you have neighbours but you're not watching their tv and listening to their music by proximity. Lots of animals doing the rounds also, we saw white rabbits bouncing around the snow and reindeer on the nature trails. The host was very obliging and despite my ludicrously early check in request still managed to cater for me and the two kids on very short notice. The host was also very obliging in offering us additional resources where we needed them and also on very short notice. Its also off the beaten track yet close to the airport. A very well balanced combination.

I'm not tall, not by any stretch (pun intended.) But the upstairs ceilings are low and the stairs are definitely an issue for anyone above 5'5" if you're tall watch your head going up stairs and in the bedrooms. Also a double bed for a couple would have been preferred, but it grants far more flexibility where groups are staying. For the light sleepers among us the return of late night workers can be a disturbance but it was few and far between.

Fabulous homey accommodation. We had a lovely stay at Reindeer Route Apartment. The information regarding check-in was easy to follow. The host was amazing and very supportive when I had left some items behind - we really appreciated the assistance Janica provided with this! Some games and sleds available for the kids was a bonus. Cooking facilities worked well, it's a small but functional cooking space. Good amount of condiments/ extra pantry items available too which was very helpful. Bathroom is well appointed and heating was great. There was even an extra heater left for us as the host noted it was a little cool prior to our arrival. We were able to use this as a great base for exploring the local area and would definitely stay again!

Charming, quiet, private and comfortable. So cosy, warm and loved all the little extra touches, very homely. Great communication and great location in a quiet residential area. We would 100% come back. Thank you!

Very cosy place in Rovaniemi, with everything you need for a family with 2 kids. The owner also let us use their sleds and she was very helpful with all my questions. She recommended great places to eat and the directions she gave us were very precise.

Beautiful small apartment with everything we needed for one nights stay.

There was a smell of drains in the downstairs bathroom once the taps had been run a couple of times.

The apartment was lovely and homely and after a day of exploring it was so lovely to come back to. It was decorated beautifully and the host thought of every little thing you may need. it was one of our best stays.

Janice was so kind and helpful, the apartment was beautiful and the lights are a lovely touch. The beds are the most comfortable I have slept in while away from home. The location was quiet but not far away from all the attractions.
