"Needs some care and attention!"

lets start with the positives! The location is superb, quiet area and only 10 mins walk into the marina The apartment was super clean, a little tired but really clean. Bed was very comfy and lots of utensils in the kitchen Key collection and contact with the management was very easy. One night we stupidly locked ourselves out and the management (lady on call that evening) was brilliant, she came and sorted everything out, very helpful

Now the negatives, which in my opinion are a real shame as this could be a brilliant apartment and site! The apartment is a little tired and nothing that a few pounds couldn't put right! Painting the woodwork, a new cooker and shower would make it amazing. We also had no parasol for outside, it was broke, we rang to request another and it never came! The real negative and one that needs addressing straight away was the cleanliness of the pool, and the grounds! They were filthy! We had to ring after 2 days to ask when/if the pool would be cleaned? It was really bad, green build up on the bottom and lots of debris floating on top, it hadn't had a proper clean in a while it was obvious. The children's pool was the same. They did come to clean after our call, however it was too late, at the end of our holiday and it did spoil our holiday as we like to swim a lot. I know there is the sea, however it very rough that week and not great for swimming. Also if it states a pool and it should be open, it should be fit for purpose and be checked regularly as this could be a heath hazard. One morning a man was walking his dog around the grounds letting it pee on the grass etc! The place feels very residential and it needs some care. As I say a real shame, as with some care and attention this could be a super apartment in a great place!

The Booking.com quality rating of 4 “blocks” is a far overestimate of the general quality of this apartment and the managing agency: All 4 (!) plastic chairs on the terrace were broken and dirty. The umbrella on the terrace was broken and could not be opened. The metal and glass table in the pictures is replaced by an unstable plastic one. As a consequence, the outdoor breakfast/dining area could not be used. The access to the pool is through a door with a one-way lock. When coming from the pool area into the building, you need a key to open the door, which was not provided. As a consequence, we could not go for a swim together: 1 person must always remain in the building to open the door. There is no infrastructure at the pool: no seats, umbrellas, place to lay your towel or clothes. 2 Foldable wooden chairs are available in the apartment, but the linen seat and back parts are missing. The pool water is dirty, and no one is cleaning the pool area. The shower head is not well fixed on the wall in the small bathroom. There is no manual for the dishwasher, the washing machine, the television and the satellite receiver. The furniture in the living room is not like in the pictures, it has been replaced. We knew the apartment was on the second floor without a lift. However, We did not expect the hall and stairs to be dirty (spider rags, dead insects…) and in bad condition. The local agency did not come to the apartment for check-in or out. They send me a message where to find the key in the mailbox. I called the agency to report the problems. They claimed not to be aware and never had this complaint before. They promised to investigate and call back. We arrived and called them on a Saturday. We never heard any news from them: not on checkout the next Wednesday , not until now, more than a week later. A complaint has been filed with Booking.com
