The Station House

From the moment we locked eyes on THE STATION HOUSE we knew it was special. The instructions given were precise and made our arrival smooth.. On entering our room we were tottally charmed. The fireplace stoked and welcoming, the quaint features of a bygone era but with all the comforts of home. The kitchenette modern and generosity of appliances with options of various teas, coffee pods and extra treat of chocolate and port. Such lovely personal homey touches all around.We felt like we were wrapped in a big hug. The bathroom modern and lovely, the bed so comfy and warm.We can't recommend it enough and can't wait to return. Thanks to Adam for his hospitality and local knowledge and his lovely lady for all her beautiful touches to make our stay so memorable. Graham and Susan

Very cosy and spacious, fireplace was lovely, short walk into town. Great base to explore cradle mountain area.

Loved the style and space. The decor fit perfectly and owners were very accommodating, nice and cosy, loved the wood heater

Wonderful cottage..the hosts were kind enough to get the fire going so the cottage was warm and toasty when we arrived...given how cold it was that was much appreciated

Gorgeous cottage style house with separate living and bedroom. Great ambience with the fire - wood provided. Great shower- hot and good water pressure.

The wood fire looks lovey but unfortunately does not give out much heat due to the lack of a fan. We found it difficult to heat the rooms.

Warm welcome and cosy wood fire. Many personal touches by Shona made the apartment very homely. Good size lounge and bedroom and efficient use of kitchen space. Bathroom and instant hot water. Easy walk into the centre of town and around the many murals. Brochures of the area lots of interesting books to peruse/read. Excellent coffee maker machine and pods as well as a lovely selection of teas.
