Shoal Towers No 9

Fantastic location and views - cannot be beaten!

WARNING!!! Mobile phone reception at this property is at best intermittent. There were long periods of time where we were unable to get reception on either of our phones. This would be ok *if* there was wifi at the property but for some mysterious reason there is no wifi. So you then end up unable to do anything basic on the internet like planning what to do the next day, find a restaurant etc. This property would be a 9 if it had wifi, without it it is a 6

The location is perfect and the views to die for. The owners put a lot of thought into the inclusions. They are clearly very thoughtful people in terms of what they have equipped the unit with.

It’s on the third floor with no lift, but forces you to exercise! The two units below are air-conditioned and this really needs it too. Despite great cross-flow ventilation it would not be good on high 30s to 40s days. The bathroom is very small but not much you can do about that. The iron needs to be replaced.

No Bbq and only one fan in room. Needed more fans.

Excellent peaceful location with great views over Shoal Bay and Mt Tomaree. Decks with clear glass edging, facing North and East appreciated especially when sunny. Good sized unit with well equipped kitchen.

Couches uncomfortable and many steps to fourth floor but we didn’t mind the exercise.

Amazing location. Top floor with the best view. Near to all the Shoal Bay shops and restaurants but far enough away to not be disturbed by the noise. Comfy beds. Bunk bed was perfect for family of 4. Well appointed kitchen. DVDs available. Parking included. Easy access to beach.

With no air con I would have expected a few more fans. The two available were old and noisy. Would be hot in peak summer. Shared stairs to access the floor means you may have people walking across your balcony. No laundry.

Amazing views, listening to the ocean at night. Great location to cafes, restaurants, water, and bush walks. Kitchen well equipped. Clean, neat, and tidy. Rooms have everything you need.

Awear that there is no access to the washing machine. However, it would make a difference if there was, especially if staying for a period of time. Other guests walk past the front of the apartment. Most of the stay was not an issue. However, a family arrived on our second last day, and kids kept walking past. Do not have a very welcoming or informative information folder for guests. Was a bit weird finding a key ring crystal in the bed.
