Historical apartments in the heart of the old town

Lovely upper floor heritage unit facing harbour. Kitchen was well equipped with refrigerator. The host was super helpful and responsive even though he was not in the town. He helped on EV charging station (walking distance) and legal parking; I was penalised for an illegal parking tho, paid for an expensive ticket close to NOK700.

No elevator so expect to carry big suitcase on a narrow staircase in the unit. One level up only, anyways. No free parking attached to the unit so if you drive you gotta try somehow get a pass or you end up like me with an expensive ticket. Street parking is not free even over the weekends.

Läget var fantastiskt direkt i gamla stan och centralt. Varje dag ett nytt kryssningsfartyg direkt framför som åkte iväg på kvällarna. Lägenheten var jätte mysig, badrummet perfekt och väl utrustat kök. Kan bara rekommendera det. Billigare kan man väl inte bo i centrala Stavanger. Enda nackdelen är att det inte finns parkering. Man får vara beredd att betala för det eller parkera långt bort.

Inget att klaga på.

Very cozy and close to the center. Beautiful view in the evening when the cruise ships have left.

Every morning a new cruise ship arrives at the dock right infront of the window, blocking the view for most of the day and making a lot of noise very early in the morning and lasting for hours. Also, the information about parking on booking is not correct. There are only short time parking spaces close by and an extremely expensive parking lot across the street (way more than 210 NOK a day). We had to park 15 minutes walking distance away, which is not great when you have a lot of luggage and expect a parking spot at the apartment.

An incredible 1820s house in the heart of the city. It was a great place to stay. It has all the amenities. The owners are always happy to help.

If you are driving, there is only paid parking near the house, but the owners are happy to suggest options where else you can leave your car.

The location in the lovely old town was perfect, with everything we wanted to see and do within walking distance. Some of the biggest cruise ships in the world right in front of our door was pretty impressive and always fun to watch. And after the ships leave the view over the harbor and city is amazing. Also, the apartment was equipped with everything we needed and was very comfortable. Host Daniel was very accommodating and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely hope to come back here again.
