Nice touch with the cerals and coffee. Very Central location and plenty parking. Information was supplied on what we could do in Stornoway on a Sunday which was very appreciated.

Love the location and cleanliness of the property. Very well appointed - they thought of pretty much everything to make your stay comfortable.

Need a more comfortable mattress as well as good pillows. Need tea towels to dry dishes. Freezer needs some maintenance.

No complaints perfect for a break away

Knew the code before coming so could memorize it. Picture of front door so knew what looking for. Detailed instructions, to how to get into building and location of lock box. Steps were not steep which was good. Also only one key and a keyring was useful. Flat was tidy and not too much furniture or bric a brac. Loved simple pictures on wall. We have a person with life threatening nut allergy so we carry all our own toiletries but Sarah was lovely and removed cereals and nutella sachets and just left loaf of bread, jam, tea and coffee sachets, some butter and loads of milk. Which was great, we had breakfast in every day and made sandwiches for picnics and took packet biscuits every day out with us. Everything really easy to use, shower had excellent water pressure. liked the space in flat and fact didnt have complicated info on taking bins out- loved the 3 bins- we have at home as well as food waste. Blinds were good. The flat is really quiet which we loved. We didnt use Tv, but there is one and books on book shelf. We mostly played games we brought with us in eve. Flat is really close to centre of Stornoway. We were on foot and used Co-op on Cromwell street which is packed with stuff, open till about 10pm and about 3 minutes walk from flat. We got loads fresh fruit etc. We ate at HS1- no bookings taken and we found if you get there early you are ok, but after 6pm and you have to wait. Im a vegetarian and there was loads of options plus they adapted the menu for allergies which was great and they were so friendly. Also went to fish and chip shop. Which was super friendly too and massive portions! Shared chips with the seagulls. Its really easy to walk around Stornoway. And further afield we hired taxi (STS- Stornoway Taxi Service) and they were lovely, took us places and not expensive- we went to Carloway Broch, the Whalebone Arch, Callanish, Butt of Lewis Lighthouse, Blackhouse Village. We also had a day trip to Luskentyre- GO. So beautiful.

Mattress in main bedroom wasnt super comfortable. But this could be matter of taste, bit too squishy for me! I like solid mattresses. Not sure how old coffee pods are in kitchen or that we love super strong coffee!! But used a couple the first morning and didnt like so got some coffee from co-op. Also reading letting notes on the last night it says none of sockets are earthed, nor are light switches which is a huge fire risk surely? And made me super nervous esp as this was on last night of the stay. As someone who had to re wire a house, I know this is a pain but it makes people a lot safer. i spent that night worrying about it. can owner respond to this? As otherwise we felt flat was perfect and want to come back. But next time we would want to be cooking more.

Great central location in a quiet part of town with a short walk to the centre. Lovely apartment, clean tidy and well presented.

It was like an oven on arrival, appreciate the heat isn’t the norm, but in a top floor apartment there really should have been some fans for each bedroom.
