Stornoway Lido flats

The property was super. Immaculate, comfortable and great location for the town centre & ferry terminal.

There is nothing negative to say about the flats.

This apartment was just what we needed for our short stay in Stornoway. It’s close to shopping and dining, and parking was very close by. The hosts were informative and patient when I asked a million questions. It sleeps up to 4 but it was just two of us and it was a great option for us.

It’s not that I didn’t like it but the tub is high. If you have mobility issues, this might not be the best place for you. Also, one night there seemed to be a party going on outside as it is near several restaurants but things quieted down before it got too late.

Good central location.

Not a problem, but adjacent roofwork and scaffolding was a little noisy at times.

Ideal location

Location was perfect as you walk to all the main attractions in Stornaway itself including the bars and restaurants.. It was a short 3 min walk from the ferry terminal. The flat had everything needed for a home away from home stay including pots, pans plates etc. The living area in particular was light, airy and very spacious.

We liked everything. A minor suggestion would be the additional of a couple of gin glasses to allow for the enjoyment of any purchases from the gin distillery under the apartment. There is some street noise from the people leaving McNeils pub across the road but this is easily overcome by closing the window.
