Stornoway Lido flats

Great location for us right near the harbour. Easy to drive or walk to ferries. The apartment was large and had everything we needed for our stay. I was a little concerned about the parking but using the town car park worked just fine. A few minutes walk from there. On departure we were able to drive our car to load outside the apartment. Good instructions were provided before arrival. We would definitely use again. We enjoyed food at La Balena and HS-1 cafe bar. Both are a short walk away.

Excellent location, immaculately clean and has everything you needed. Probably one of the best places I’ve ever stayed in, it was a shame coming back home to my own flat as this was much nicer.

The apartment was fabulous: clean, large, has everything you might need during your stay, great location. Definitely recommend and will return once back on Lewis.

The property was very clean and comfortable, well appointed and equipped and in a great location for visiting Stornoway.

We had difficulty finding the property but did eventually find the entrance and key box which was in Frances Street, not Cromwell Street as we had been advised. Also when we entered the building we couldn't see anything in the dark and couldn't find the light switch but luckily had a torch with us to find our way upstairs. Once inside the flat the information on the lighting etc was available in the information book and we had no further problem there. Unfortunately our only problem in the flat was we could not use the shower as the bath was so high and also there was no anti slip mat for the shower. I laugh as I write this because it was funny for us 2 oldies, one with a new hip! These problems aside we had a great stay but unfortunately won't be able to have a return visit, which is a pity as it would be a perfect flat for Faclan (Book Festival) at An Lanntair in October this year.

Great location close to everything. Very secure. Fully equipped kitchen enabled us to prepare our own meals. A “home away from home”.
