Sunrise 27- 2 Bedroom Ocean View Condo

Initial impression was good until the problems started. The unit was well stocked—honestly, it had *more* than what was listed. The kitchen had all the dishes and essentials you’d need, and there were extra items like umbrellas. I actually wish those extras were mentioned in the listing, because we ended up bringing things we didn’t need. Тhe area around the condo was great - everything was accessible for the stroller. If someone is travelling with small children, it's a nice area for them to be in a shade, play with mango trees, or on a small playground, or in kids' part of the pool.

1. The biggest issue was the sleeping setup: the listing photos advertised a bunk bed, but it wasn’t available. Instead, we were given a pullout bed that once it was pulled out, it blocked access to the bathroom. That felt like a misrepresentation and was a major inconvenience. 2. There was also one night when the water was shut off after 9 PM. While this was communicated ahead of time, it was still inconvenient—especially coming back from hot weather and traveling with a small baby. In a situation like that, I feel some compensation would be appropriate since we paid full price. 3. We also tried using the condo’s recommended fish delivery service (included in a pamphlet on the fridge), but it didn’t work out for us—either the fish was unavailable or communication fell through after several attempts. It was frustrating, and we didn’t end up getting the fresh seafood that was advertised. 4. In the rooms facing the ocean you could hear the loud music of Tamarindo. 5. The cleaners did a so-so job. Cleaning was only one-time over the 9 days were there. 6. The toaster suddenly stopped working and started sparking, which was concerning, but management replaced it the next day, which we appreciated. 7. Finally, we received an email that we ripped sheets and scraped a frying pen and got charge USD $150 for it! We did not do any of such things. We always take care of things and that seemed to be just such a scam. Be aware of that. I would never book it again. Also note, that this is en edit to my review. The charge came immediately after I wrote my first review.
