El Rincón del Sol

Very friendly and knowledgeable host, the apartment is spotless, felt like home! Would 100% recommend this accommodation! We loved it!

Our 8-day stay at El Rincón del Sol apartment was truly memorable, not only because La Palma is a stunning island offering incredible experiences, but also through the care we received from Zayda from the moment we booked her apartment in the pretty village of Tazacorte on the west coast. My husband and I immediately felt very much at home, mainly from Zayda’s warm welcome and kind hospitality. She made sure our stay was comfortable in every way and also remained in constant contact with us, providing great tips on places to visit, recommending restaurants, and offering useful assistance when needed. She also left us a large bottle of water, a delicious bottle of wine, and a selection of various fruit from her own garden! The two-bedroom modern apartment is very central but quiet, and it is extremely clean and fully equipped with all amenities. It also has some extra touches that we really appreciated (and are not always offered at apartments), including free shower gel and hand wash, a professional hairdryer, more than enough toilet paper, bath and beach towels, kitchen condiments and various appliances, and most importantly, very comfortable beds with high-quality linen and different types of pillows. A little balcony with a table and chairs offers a nice view of the village’s colourful houses, with banana plantations on the cliff in the background, while a massive communal roof presents stunning views of the sea, sunsets, and stars—and also has a private washroom and washing machine. The parking spot in the indoor garage was an added bonus that prevented parking headaches for our rental car. There are plenty of good restaurants, cafeterias, and shops within walking distance, and the Playa/Puerto area is just a 30-minute downhill walk or 5-minute drive away, with more lovely bars and restaurants to enjoy, as well as a picturesque promenade and a gorgeous black sand beach (be aware of the strong sea currents though, so keep an eye on the flags!

Cecelia was very friendly and helpful. She welcomed us with a bottle of wine and had coffee and cookies for us as the stores were closed.

The apartment was excellent, well equipped, exceptionally clean. Super location with a secure car parking space. Ceci made us very welcome with lots of information about the island; Would recommend without hesitation and hope to return.

This apartment in a central place in Tazacorte is great to stay! The host Cecilia is very kind, everything worked smoothly. We enjoyed very much the apartment itself and the rooftop terrace. There is even a comfortable parking possibility for the car.
