Valley Lodge

I liked the proximity to the beach and coves. Good for walking the dog and really quiet, although it is off season. Space was big enough for me and my large dog, so comfortable stay. Good standard of cleanliness. Modern decor and simple furnishings make it a good base point and easy to maintain whilst staying there.

Some simple repairs needed doing, I.e. back door difficult to open and then lock shut, front door a pest to unlock when going in and ants in the kitchen need investigating. A couple of everyday essentials upon arrival would have been appreciated, I.e. tea bags, sugar, UHT milks, tin foil- things that don't go off but when coming in late after travelling make a huge difference. Water pressure for hot water is low.

Lovely location, apartment and site very clean and well kept.

Well used and needs renovating. Everything is really tired and used including mattresses and bathroom and carpets. Patio door was a nightmare to use. Also there is a strange continuous knocking noise like someone is constantly knocking on the front door. If it wasn't for the fact we were celebrating a birthday and were drinking the knocking would have kept us awake. We would have probably have moved elsewhere if it hadn't been half term and local places booked up

Modern well laid out and comfortable apartment close to the beach and t bay centre

Very small thing would be that there was no tea /coffee oil salt etc. Easy enough to buy, but for a late arrival would help the next morning.

The ocean, the bed, space and everything combined ✨️ Worth staying again !
