Loved the little attention to detail. The information provided was amazing. It was very clean.

It was very cold. The temperature was far too cold for us meaning our romantic weekend resulted in us sleeping in thermals. You could boost the heating but it meant being cold until it warmed up and during the day it was turned off and dropped to 7 during the night.

The location was beautiful a little piece of heaven. The views were amazing. All the little touches like home made maderia cake left for us on our arrival was perfect

We were blown away by this fabulous, cosy cottage. In fact, it was the best place we've ever stayed, and the hosts were lovely and went out of their way to make our stay even better. The surrounding area is really beautiful too. We came to the area to go to a wedding but would definitely come again. On the first night we arrived we didn't even go out like we normally would because the house was so nice, we just ordered a takeaway and stayed in! The secret garden is lovely and the decor in the house is very tasteful, with every need catered for.

As a child I was told that there's this place called Heaven, where you get rice pudding with as much brown sugar as you'd like on top and golden spoons to eat it with. How little did I know that this sweet Heaven, the garden of Eden included, does already exist, here and now, on our planet Earth, and that you don't have to die first to be allowed in. This little paradise is The Pink Cottage. It's pink and cosy and warm and comfortable. It's a place to relax and to start from on your walking tours along the rocky paths and the coastline. It's where you go back to in the late afternoon or early evening, just to sit down at the small wooden table, writing postcards or reading a book in the company of a glass of red wine. If you sit at the window and close your eyes, you can still see the Titanic passing by towards its disastrous end. It has the French Press, the teapot and the toaster, the romantic plates and cups bordered with a line of gold, the vases with flowers on the windowsill, the sofa and the blankets for the cold, the different types of tea, the muesli, the oatmeal and the homemade jam, the pink bathtub and the fragrant shampoos and lotions. It has. It has. It has. And it has Heather and David, the most lovely hosts I ever met. The Pink Cottage has it all! Thank you so much! Elly Colin from Belgium

Interior was exceptional. Hosts had went over and beyond creating the most exquisite cottage. They have created a peaceful haven to relax and unwind.

The basics were provided for breakfast. The homemade maderia cake was delicious. There was a fab walk from the house around by the lighthouse and down by the sea. There was a great view from the secret garden, it was great to sit out there and have a coffee or a glass of wine and watch the birds.

The ceilings were low, protection on the doorways would have been good. Also inset lights (while not keeping with the aesthetics of the cottage) would make it more comfortable.

I love all the details in the cottage it was beautiful and the views out in the sea were amazing
