Ferienwohnung Panorama mit Festungsblick

I loved the view from the balcony. It overlooked the river and straight across was the fortress on a hill. It was a 5 minute walk to the Main Bridge, a great place for a glass of wine in the evening. It was also close to a market and some great restaurants. The apartment was spacious and provided for all of our needs.

Our family of 5 (kids 11, 16 & 18) enjoyed a two-night stay over the 26th/27th of December. The two-bedroom apartment is in a great location - we enjoyed our gentle walks to the centre of the old town, across the Old Main Bridge, further along to the Wurzburg Ice Rink and further still to the Marienberg Fortress. From the balcony, we loved having our morning coffee or an evening beverage with uninterrupted views of the Main River and the Fortress on the hill. The road in front of the building (which runs parallel to the river) is heavily used. The odd car with loud music going past can be heard, and of course emergency services sirens. Otherwise, it was relatively quiet. Many stores, convenience stores, and restaurants weren't open during the dates we stayed. we ended up driving a way out of town to get basic supplies. The apartment was spacious and decorated with a modern style, very clean with modern appliances on hand. The adjoining bedrooms didn't bother us, and there were comfortable beds for all of us. The full bathroom included a washing machine and a dryer which unfortunately had been broken by a prior guest, but the clothes racks did the job. The reserved car park was appreciated and was located less than 10 minutes on foot from the apartment. We very much enjoyed our stay at this property.

The location was fantastic. The view was perfect. Above everything there was private parking. You had to walk about 5 min walk to parking but it was a guaranteed secured spot. Friendly staff as well. Clean and felt welcoming. Rooms were attached but was not a problem for family. 

Maybe adding a microwave.

Excellent location, everything was very clean. The view from all three rooms was amazing, and we also met the host briefly and had a friendly chat. Parking is also provided for. Definitely recommend. 👍
