Estrela do Oceano

The two bedroom/2 bathroom apartment was spacious and well equipped. The location was central to Potimao and Alvor restaurants and shopping and the trails along the ocean. Weekly cleaning of the unit, bed linens and towels was appreciated.

The outdoor pools and lounge area were off limits due to construction and the suites two balconies we couldn’t use because of on going painting and plastering. In hindsight we should have taken the early offered change of hotel, even with the inconvenience of Re packing. Many hotels in the area had their lounging and pools up and running at this date.

Appartement très spacieux avec tout le matériel nécessaire , 2 belles terrasses avec une vue sur la piscine et l'ocean. Super piscine pour les adultes et enfants avec petit bar. Parking facile. Localisation assez centrale sur la côte à proximité de plusieurs lieux à visiter. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

Un peu loin de la plage à pied. Mauvaise communication pour le check in ( appartement situé dans un hôtel et à la réception ils n'étaient pas au courant et nous ont dit qu'on s'était trompés d'hôtel or nous n'avions pas reçu les informations pour l'utilisation de la boîte à clés ) + pas de lit bébé à notre arrivée alors que ça nous avait été confirmé il y a longtemps. Cependant, le problème a été vite réglé, une dame est venue l'installer rapidement.

Definitely the location – a great base for exploring the coast and its attractions. The apartment is spacious and very well equipped.

Unfortunately, there’s no information on Booking that the apartment is located within a large hotel. We’ve always avoided such bookings, but in this case, it happened due to incomplete information in the listing. Side effects: children shouting at the pool, sun loungers in the shade “reserved” all day even though no one was using them. And this was before the peak season. Additionally, two separate beds instead of one, a leaking shower, and loud renovation work somewhere on the premises.
