Very helpful host and a great location.

The only downside is the toilet and bathroom are downstairs. Not on the same level as bedrooms. Inconvenience at night to go downstairs to the toilet.

The apartment is situated beautifully in the hills of the Eifel area. The kitchen is well equipped, the living room is cosy and the bed (room) is very comfortable. Everything was clean and looked proper. The host was very friendly and gave some good tips for attractions to visit close by (for instance Vogelsang IP). And the location is perfect, hiking trails start right around the corner and there is a restaurant within 5 minutes walking distance where delicious schnitzels (and other dishes) are served.

Not much. The house is a little older, so there were rather few wall outlets, which sometimes proved challenging with all the electronic equipment we carry around these days. Can be easily solved by bringing an extension cord.
