Easy walking distance of the town and minster and a little garden you could sit in if the weather was good. Unfortunately for my stay it wasn’t. Bed extremely comfortable.

Nothing I did not like.

The host was very welcoming and the apartment clean,warm and cosy.

No parking which was understandable as for location of the property.

nothing negative apart from needs a foot stool to put feet up.. 😀

The owner saved us the closest parking space as it was raining.

The property, particularly in the small childrens bedroom was dirty, lots of black mould. The owner had positioned a couple of cushions to try to hide the mould. When we started looking we found thick dust like it had never ever had a proper clean. We tried to contact the owner (Janice) via text message, booking.com messages and wattsapp so we could remedy the situation but we were ignored. We left and requested a refund but were ignored until the next evening (25 hours after our first message and we'd already returned the keys) when we finally received a very long ranting message which completely failed to mention the mould and hugely criticised us for not being happy with it. Overall not a great place to stay and not a great host. I recommend you look elsewhere. Loads of road noise, no hair drier, plenty of black mould on the skirting boards. Oh yeah, and booking.com requested a refund for us but Janice refused it so we don't get it, so booking.com don't offer you any protection from this kind of thing.

Southwell Minster and the National Trust Workhouse are worth a visit Owner very pleasant and provided information on local places to eat etc. as well as a lovely welcome pack

Bathroom very dated - shower just about adequate No table or chairs provided despite having a well equipped kitchen, had to eat sitting in lounge with meals on lap-trays No hairdryer provided

Great location for NTU Brackenhurst campus. Comfortable. Lovely welcome tray on arrival with bread, milk, hot cross buns. Clean. Great selection of games enjoyed.

Brilliant location, extremely friendly and welcoming host, and very comfortable apartment. Highly recommneded for families with children.
