Gamla Stan Apartments

Clean, comfortable apartment. Great location and friendly, helpful host. A memorable home!

The location is amazing, nestled right in the middle of the old town. There are incredible food options within a minute's walk. The area, and the apartment have a lot of charm - even the tight stairway and slightly sloped floors speak to the history of the apartment. the communication from the manager was exceptional, including tips for getting to the apartment from Arlanda airport.

I'm being honest here - the apartment needs a fresh coat of paint, it looks a lot more tired than the photos. This was most noticeable on skirting boards and windows where the paint was cracked and flaking. This is the only negative thing I can say about it though.

Pas tout à fait adaptépour 2 adultes (sur canapé-lit), un enfant sur la mezzanine et un bébé dans lit-bébé sous l’espace mezzanine, même si l’effet « cabane » a fait le plaisir des enfants..

Tom was on point even when out of the country. Customer service = excellent. Apartment = super cozy. Location = perfect. It is a capital city apartment, it's not meant to be big. It's a very cozy apartment that has everything you need. Yes the ground floor apartment has a mezzanine bed up small stairs, but it also has an equally comfy sofa bed if you want to sleep on ground level!

Memo: If you replace cupboard with "box" eg electricity box.. the key holder location is simple.. it's just semantics.

Very close to major sights and unique gamla stan feeling.
