The Groom's Cottage

My girlfriend really, really loved the bed, it was the night sleep we needed before our Silverstone running event. When we arrived there was a small bottle of milk and some bacon in the fridge for us to use and bread, tea and coffee were also available. We really enjoyed the remoteness and quietness of the location, as we both live in a big city (London/Antwerp), this was just the retreat we needed before our event. We cocooned in the living/sleeping room after making diner in the full kitchen and just hang on the sofa watching Formula 1 and some Sky with our diner and a couple of beers.

Beautiful setting on a working farm. Good location, 5 minutes from silverstone and Towcester town centre. Lovely, big comfortable bed and amazing fluffy bath towels. A proper home from home with personalised touches of bread, milk and bacon provided.

The location was excellent as we were going to a wedding in Towcester it is also not far from Bicester Village or Oxford. The accomodation was clean and comfortable. The host was lovely and they left bacon, bread and milk for us. The bed was very comfortable. The surroundings were quiet and peaceful.Very impressed and I would stay again.

Such a lovely stay, Jo is so hospitable and just lovely. We loved the room and all of the facilities, lots of special touches including bacon, bread and milk and sky sports to watch Quali when we arrived back from Silverstone! (It’s touchscreen so look out for that whilst turning on the tv!) Do look out for the head of Shakespeare in the tile behind the shower! The dogs, sheep and overall farm feel was so welcoming and we will 100% be coming back soon. Th am you Jo 😊
