The Groom’s Cottage was in a stunning setting, it was beautifully decorated and very thoughtfully equipped by the very welcoming and friendly owners. It really felt like a home from home with no expense spared with making sure everything that could possibly be needed during our visit was close to hand. The mattress, bedsheets and towels were luxurious and smelled fresh and clean. We had the BEST night’s sleep and we were disappointed not to be there longer to make full use of the facilities and relaxing location. The lovely owner even put a pint of milk, a loaf of bread and some bacon in the kitchen ready for our check in…I really don’t think she could have done anything else to make us feel more welcome. The farm pets also came out to make a fuss of us, with the 4 dogs and resident cat all coming for a cuddle on arrival and departure. Just lovely.

We sadly had to leave before feeding Larry the calf! Most disappointing…

Host was very welcoming, went above and beyond to make comfortable. Accommodation was exceptional.
