Fantastic Cottage in Loch Lomond National Park

Beautiful location, just a minute or so off the A road but feels very quiet and peaceful. Great layout with so much space. Very well equipped. Very clean. Very close to Duck Bay Hotel which has a fantastic restaurant and coffee shop right on the loch.

Location was great, size of the rooms was ample. We did have a enjoyable stay and it was peaceful.

We had problems with the heating and just couldn't get it to stay on and warm up which was very unfortunate.

The views were stunning of both Loch & Ben Lomond

Liked the location and the layout of accommodation suited our party perfectly.

Parking area - very tight and scraped car on metal fence. Oven didn't work, and when I phoned property manager, Karen, for advice, discovered she was on holiday in Spain and was told to Google for info. We did that, but it still didn't work, so had no dinner that night. The next-door neighbour kindly cooked our lasagne a couple of days later. Lack of tspoons for party of 6 - only 3 and a dining room chair was broken. The lack of spoons and broken chair were reported in the visitors' book prior to our visit but had still not been rectified. Thought a pack of Tunnocks tcakes was a bit of a poor welcome pack. There were no dishcloths/scourers etc and just a couple of t towels. I think, even though accommodation was very nice and comfortable, there was a lack of attention to detail.

The property was well furnished, clean and in a very quiet and peaceful location off the main road. We loved walking down the drive to the local restaurant and seeing the deer and birds cross in front of us.

The middle stairs creaked so loudly that they disturbed everyone- thankfully we found this hilarious! No sneaking downstairs for a Tunnocks Teacake in the middle of the night.

Excellent accommodation, clean and had everything we need.

Immaculately presented property in an idyllic location, about a 10 min walk from Loch Lomond. Easy access to the loch and a restaurant nearby, and in walking distance from Balloch (30 mins ish).
