Loft at Bruges

Lovely loft with an outdoor terrace. 10 minute easy drive to large municipal lot at edge of Bruges where you only pay 6 euros to park per day. You can easily walk another 10 minutes to the main square or you can take a free bus (bring the parking stub to the bus office to get free tickets for round trip for all passengers in the car). The city is so pretty that you will want to walk it anyway. Hosts are a lovely Irish couple who live next door, very friendly and very helpful.

The apartment was fantastic, and Linda is a great host!

The property was very clean, with lovely big beds. The area was really nice and our host was very helpful with where to park in Bruges and where to eat nearby.

We ran out of hot water a couple of times (in the UK we have combi boilers) and you could hear the neighbours up at around 7am every morning as the walls are thin. Also take your slippers, the floors are cold with only one rug in the living room.

Location was perfect for Bruges and the coast (De Haan and Blankenberge). We also could cycle and the cycle to Bruges only took 20 minutes. We also travelled by train to Gent and Brussel from Bruges. Bike parking for over 2000 bikes is available at Bruges station. Linda and Stan were great hosts very helpful and knowledgeable.

Linda is very kind, really helpful, she is very good at getting back to you with answers to questions, was a good location and it was clean,

We loved our time at The Loft. It was far more lovely than the pictures indicated. It was extremely spacious and very comfortable. With lovely Garden Furniture on your own private balcony terrace. We even slept out there for a few hours on a very hot evening. There is a very spacious downstairs lobby that we were able to stand our bikes in and store some other luggage in. The kitchen is extremely well equipped. The fridge is a good size. We only had breakfast here as eating out in Belgium is reasonably priced. Our car was behind electric gates, so no worries there. The hosts Linda and Stan were very friendly and gave lots of information on places to eat, car parking, bus timetables, and maps of the immediate area. Bruges is only a 10 minute drive away with excellent parking at the station. Also, De Haan a beautiful seaside town, is only 20 min drive away. Can't wait to go again.
