Apartamento Norte Comfort

It was like being at home, all the small details (like kitchen paper, coffe, spices, oil, etc. were in the kitchen). Paloma was very nice, helpful person.

Very friendly and helpful host, lovely little apartment. Quiet, great for our daughter, playpark and nice spots to eat very close. 15 minute walk to the centre, 5 minutes from best tapas street.

Nothing

This is a comfortable, good size apartment with a very well equipped kitchen about 20 minutes easy walk from the centre of the Old Town. We found plenty of good eating places in the area. Palermo met us there and despite the language barrier, we were welcomed and given all the info we needed. She kindly got her niece who could speak English on the phone to answer some of our queries There isn't any air con but despite it being very hot outside we were ok inside. A bit of street noise on the Friday and Sat but otherwise fine. We really enjoyed exploring Salamanca- such an interesting and attractive town. We arrived by bus and left by train and both were walkable.We visited Avila by train on one of our days and had a great walk around it's amazing walls.

As there is no air con, a fan for the bedroom could be helpful as this would mean the window wouldn't need to be opened and so cut down on street noise. But it wasn't a big issue for us.

Interior was cosy, traditional and full of character. The usable balcony served as a nice way of feeling the neighbourhood. Many tapas bars and restaurants were 2 minutes walk away, while the plaza mayor was a pleasant 30 minute stroll away. Everything inside was more than adequate.
