Alex Gate apartment - families only

The flat was clean, neat, comfortable, and near everything.

Just need a foldable dining table.

This apartment offered us so much space and a beautiful view of the Mediterranean off the front deck. The location on Booking.com was misleading, thus the lower score there. We regretted nothing of the stay, however, as it was well worth the inconvenience of being a little further from the center of things. The cooking facilities were amazing during Ramadan when our food options were so limited during the day.

The location should be corrected on the booking.com website.

the property is so spacious with a great sea view,it has a big balcony that fits at least six people. Rooms are huge and it has two full bathrooms and one half bath. the host Ala’a is honest, nice and punctual. He answers every single question we asked so fast and was able to help with anything we needed. I truly recommend this place if you’re looking for a great experience in Alexandria.

kitchen is old and needs better appliances, plus the couches need to be replaced.

the shower has a big problem

Plenty of mod cons in a very spacious apartment. The owner was very welcoming and made every effort to make our stay enjoyable including allowing us a generous late check out. The location was very close to the beach and library and catching Ubers to the local Carrefour cost about £1.50 depending on time of day and worth a trip for the shopping in the air conditioned mall.

We had some problem with the electrics for a couple of hours but that was do with the General Electric Board in Alexandria and nothing to do with the building or apartment.
