Villa Manoir

Комфортный гестхаус и чудесный хозяин Ронни. Добрый, отзывчивый, пунктуальный, во всём помогал. В доме есть всё необходимое для проживания: мебель, кухня с посудой, душ с горячей водой. Да, мебель старая, но мы приходили домой только поспать и помыться, так что, нам это впечатления не испортило. Villa Manoir расположена в 5 минутах ходьбы от пляжа Анс Буден и в 15-20 минутах ходьбы от красивейшего Анс Лацио. Автобусная остановка прямо перед домом. К сожалению, единственный магазин далековато — минут 15 пешком. То есть, цивилизация от Villa Manoir довольно далеко. Но для нас это не было проблемой, хотя машину мы не брали. Ронни договорился с лодочником, который отвёз нас на Курьёз на весь день. Ронни угощал нас рыбой — специально для нас приготовил ужин в мой день рождения. Он же встречал нас в порту и отвозил обратно. В общем, нам всё понравилось.

Нам хотелось уединения и тишины. Но возможно кому-то это будет в тягость. Дом находится практически в джунглях.

We had a pleasant stay at Villa Manoir. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was good. The people running the place were very kind and even prepared fish for us one evening — a lovely gesture! The location is very convenient, with a bus stop right outside and about a 15-minute walk to Anse Lazio, one of the most beautiful beaches on Praslin. A nice place to stay.

The room was cosy but the dishes were not clean. There are no restaurants nearby so unless you have a car, you need to cook yourself. There is only a very small supermarket in a walking distance. You can walk to the best beach in the island, it is 15 min walk away. There was a construction site next to our room and no view. Breakfast was okay, not the best one. Hosts were friendly.

I don't have an opinion on the breakfast because I made my own food every day. Room: Very clean. Washing machine! Comfortable bed. Loads of storage space. Kitchen fully stocked. Balcony. Quiet and peaceful. I liked that I could cook my own meals for a much lower cost (to save money) and enjoy it on the balcony/terrace and watch the sky full of sounds of birds and bats. You can also see the stars at night if you wanted to sit out and have a drink. Host: Ronny is an amazing host and very attentive. He was very prompt in answering all my questions and messages. He is an amazing Seychellois Creole chef/cook, I was fortunate enough to try one of his fish dishes. I cleaned the plate. First impressions is that they offer you a fresh juice as soon as you sit down to take care of payment and formalities. Transportation: He offered a pick up and drop off from the ferry for a lower cost compared to the taxis. If you want to avoid high transportation costs of taxis, the bus stop is right in front of the villa. (Note: buses may arrive 10-15 minutes earlier or later, so be there by then. You can catch it to go to Valle de Mai, Fond Ferdinand, or jetty/port. Activities: Location is awesome. Anse Boudin is nearest beach & Anse Lazio is their claimed most beautiful beach and next closest beach. Valle de Mai, Fond Ferdinand, White tipped Divers (Octopus divers is not far), Curieuse Island excursion (don't feed the turtles), and Praslin Museum.

Only downside is that there are no restaurants immediately close by. However, it is a self-catering business which means you will have your own kitchen to prepare and cook your own meals however and whenever you want. There is a grocery store 10 min walk away to purchase your food to prepare. If you want cooked meals, you can either walk 15-20 min north to Anse Lazio beach where there are some restaurants (Be warned that the road is full of inclines and declines). It's a good work out. Or you can take a bus into the main areas/beaches like Côte d'Or or Anse Volbert.

The apartment was surprisingly big and featured even a washing machine. Large 180 cm bed. Breakfast is simple but included in the price. I appreciated particularly that Ronny picked me up from my former hotel and that the air conditioning was turned on every time I came home in the evening, so I would find a nice and cool apartment after the heat of the day. Also, apartment was made every day. Good value for money. It's a 20 min walk to the fabulous beach Anse Lazio, downhill easier than coming up the steep road ! Good exercise but if you are not very sporty, there are taxis to bring you up for about 6 euros.

The location was a bit away, from the center.

Great surroundings, you are very close to wild nature, two beaches nearby, bus stop next to accomodation.

We had a great stay, Andrew and his team were really great, photos of the accommodation matched the reality. The place is located in the south with beautiful beaches around, having car is a big advantage. Andrew helped us with our things which we forgot there. There is also a gallery with Andrew's paintings.👍

I really enjoyed staying here! The location was great and super easy to get to by bus, I was able to walk to Anse Lazio and raffle beach and Ronny was super helpful with everything! Breakfast was also delicious and wifi was good enough to do work video calls as well. Thanks!

The location was perfect to Anse Lazio (roughly 15-20 minute walk up and down a small hill). They made us feel us very welcome when they cooked us breakfast earlier after the 1st morning as we had to head out early for our day trip, which we really appreciated. Our host Ronnie gave us a lift to and from the jetty in Praslin (for 400 rupees). Breakfast was nice, just what we needed to kick off the day.
