Staying in this hotel left the warmest and most pleasant impressions! Cozy room, cleanliness,nice terrace.Most important thing is definitely the hosts! I have bit difficulty in website,Wim check in us ,explain all! I definitely recommend this place for holiday!

noise insulation, it did not bother me, but my one year old son is noisy and wakes up early.

The house is very beautiful, well decorated and nicely located.

We got an underground flat, which didn’t have much natural light. I wouldn’t recommend that one (although it was our choice - the available one)

Location was close to where needed for Tulip Festival. Tons of arrival messages were helpful but got to be too much.

Advertised as one floor with bedrooms but was downstairs and all open sleeping. Not comfortable for person with step challenges. High priced for what was advertised.

On booking.com, it listed a lot of "onsite" stuff like a sauna, mini golf, horse riding etc. None of those exist

Nice quiet location, a few minutes walk from town centre, train station and beach. Best thing is the beds - super comfortable. This is a really nice property but it is a little tired and needs some TLC.

Het Lichthuis was obviously a very nice property but it is now a little tired and needs some TLC. Decorating needs updating, sink in toilet did not work, toilet brush filthy, blinds in main area not working properly, damp in bed 1 on ceiling and wall, damp in main area and in shower room. Outside and garden need a bit of TLC also. No extractor in the shower room and the sink tap sprays water everywhere. Left the tourist tax in cash in the apartment (as asked to do in Booking.com message) and they charged my card also and not replied to my email and message on Booking.com. Didn't like the entry system either - as it activated from a website on the browser of your phone, you are locked put if your phone runs out of battery! Very impersonal also, the website tells you about the owners and shows you but you don't get any sort of greeting at all.

The surroundings provide a great example of what you can do with a building like this. It looks very professional, and although I saw it on a TV program, I never expected it to be like this.

not enough power outlets

This is a remotely operated aparthotel with an online reception and electronic key sent directly to your mobile phone. Located on a residential street on the edge of town, but still a short walk from the main town and the beach. Very high spec rooms and bathroom with loads of space. If you don't need the benefits of a full service hotel, this is a great option.
