"Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen bestimmt wieder!"

Anna hat uns in eine ihrer anderen Apartments (Baia Marina Oasi) ausquartiert, damit wir als Pärchen mehr Privatsphäre genießen können. Die Unterkunft war groß, sauber und wir hatten sogar eine/n Balkon/Terrasse, von der wir den Abend mit einem Sonnenuntergang ausklingen lassen konnten. Nicht weit entfernt (ca. 8 Gehminuten) ist ein Strand, der nicht von vielen Touristen besucht wird. Dort bekommt man kalte Getränke und etwas für den kleinen Hunger zwischendurch. Sonnenschirme und Liegen kann man sich auch gegen eine, im Vergleich zu anderen Stränden, billige Gebühr leihen.

Es gab eine gebührenpflichtige Klima im Wohn-/Essbereich. Da es während unseren Aufenthaltes sehr warm wurde, konnten wir das Schlafzimmer nur bedingt kühlen. Das hat teilweise unseren Schlaf leider nicht ganz so erholsam gemacht. Anna meinte aber, dass sie die Unterkünfte noch mit einer extra Klimaanlage im Schlafzimmer ausstatten werden. Somit gibt es beim nächsten Mal sicher nichts mehr zu meckern. :)

"lovely host, traditional and welcoming place with everything you need"

The Owner Anna was honestly the nicest kindest host you could wish for. The room was large and had everything you need including cooking facilities shower and washing machine which was great! You can see the sea from the window and the beach is just down the hill. We hired a car and explored the west side of Sicily but the town of Balestrate is great, lovely and traditional with lots of excellent coffee shops and bakeries. The hotel opposite offers spa facilities so had a massage €60 for 50 mins which was not bad compared to uk.

Friendly, hospitable hostess; obliging and very helpful. The location was very convenient with good beaches 10 min drive away. Comfortable apt, all conveniences provided. The outside private patio was a bonus. A 'local' feel to Balestrate and a refreshing break from the busy Palermo swarming with tourists. Great local restaurants. Highly recommended.
