Apartments on The Eighteenth at Prince's Grant Golf Estate

The environment and how the house had everything we needed.

The surroundings were beautiful and everything was relatively well organized. It was really a magic setting with one of the most beautiful Golf courses! The beauty does come at a price though! THERE WAS A RELENTLESS CUTTING OF GRASS WITH LEAF BLOWERS AND EDGE TRIMMERS WORKING VERY HARD TO KEEP EVERYTHING MANICURED. The physical location of the Flats was very poorly thought of with all the traffic destined for the beach or most of the other houses on the estate having to literally drive right next to the rental flats! We did not have a moment's rest! The pictures were simply magic and idyllic but wow did we get a wake-up call!!

There was constant noise non-stop from 6 AM to 10 PM with Golf carts whizzing past failing to negotiate the speedbumps right next to our Apartment and teams of people moving around to clean the grass and leaves even cutting and trimming with a chainsaw. Then when we thought we had the brunt of it a Cart of some sort towing a trailer with the biggest leaf blower I have ever seen behind it drowned out the other activities with its deafening sound! Then 4 days later the cutting and blowing started all over again! Wow it made me look at the beautiful surroundings with very different eyes! Never in my life will I go to a Golf Estate again!

Location Security

Roof leaks, geyser not working, extractor fan not working upstairs bedroom where there is no window, foul smell on the couch…

The property and the location is great. The restaurant is also very good.

Firstly the lady who handled our booking did not give us the correct number of access codes despite filling in the registration forms and specifying exactly how many cars will be arriving. As a result part of our group was stuck at the security gate for an hour! In the apartment the linen was dirty, there were stains on the pillow cases, the towels which were supposed to be white were almost yellow/brown. It looked as if the bed linen hadn’t been washed in preparation for our stay. As if the beds were made and not washed months prior. This is very disappointing. We had also asked for single beds in all the rooms, however 2 of the rooms had double beds.
