The Studio @ No. 6

Convenient and safe accommodation with adjacent parking for an older solo traveller with slight mobility difficulties. The host was welcoming and helpful. The apartment was warm and cosy on a very cool June evening. It suited my needs entirely.

The RAIN, which limited what I could do in the locality, so I was glad of the flexibility of self catering accommodation.

Very convenient location due to office location for work. Amazing value for money, will definitely be stopping here again.

It was in a perfect location. Very quiet and pretty. The studio was comfortable and had everything we needed. We had a really lovely stay. Lots of great walks in the area, nice cafes and pubs.

We loved everything about it. We couldn’t find one thing that we didn’t like.

Large room, good kitchen

Sofa bed was broken on arrival, towels had been left to air dry and felt “crunchy”/ hard. Putting them in a dryer would have made a big difference. Almost no shampoo in dispenser. No oil in kitchen. All very easy to fix issues.

Comfortable, very suitable for a short stay. Quiet neighbourhood. Pleasantly cool inside on a warm day.

Minor issues like kettle lid broken, bathroom fittings loose, bed was a bit too soft.

The host had agreed to our arrival time in advance and had said they would meet us at the property to hand over the keys. When we arrived, there were no signs of life in the house and we spent 10 minutes knocking on the door and trying to call them. Eventually, after worrying that we were going to have to somehow find somewhere else to stay, we banged hard enough on the door that the host emerged (she had clearly been asleep). She was very angry and rude and said we needed to use a pincode to get into a keysafe. We had not been provided with this pincode (we were checking every email about the booking for something like this). Piss poor communication on her part.
