It had everything you needed & it was lovely & clean it was also very peaceful setting

Gorgeous Chalet in farmland hills - peaceful! Lovely fresh bread, eggs, bacon and butter provided for brekkie - Chalet is self contained Fireplace is lovely on chilly evenings, as is the view from the verandah, with blankets provided Gill and James are lovely helpful hosts!

It's in a good spot, breath taking views and a place to stay away from noice or city Location not far from town

The view, cleanliness, Gill made sure we were comfortable Both Gill and husband was helpful with information about places to visit.

The fresh eggs, home made butter, lemon butter, milk and fresh bread were great. We would have liked some cereal/muesli. Love having a Nespresso machine. The kitchen facilities were outstanding. The underfloor heating in the bathroom was fantastic and with the fire lit it couldn’t have been more perfect. The high ceilings and the wonderful verandah with the view was just amazing. We have already started recommending it to friends. The hosts were lovely as well.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Idlewild. The cottage was warm, beautiful decor, lovely views and the breakfast supplies were delicious. The thought put into making the cottage comfortable and our stay so delightful was very much appreciated. This would be one of the best places we have stayed in
