Queen Flat in Old Town with Castle view

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy Airbnb right next to Bratislava’s charming old city! The location was perfect—just a short stroll to the historic sights, cafes, and cobblestone streets. The apartment itself was clean, stylish, and felt like a home away from home.

There is no parking in front of the apartment, but the host has a proposal for a parking lot that is a 10-minute walk from the accommodation, which turned out to be a good and cheap recommendation. The accommodation is very clean and nicely equipped. various details that further complete it.

The bed is extremely uncomfortable and very noisy. We arrived at the accommodation at 6pm with the baby, and the heating was turned off - it only warmed up after midnight, we traveled in the middle of November. There is an espresso coffee machine in the accommodation, but without coffee (I'm not saying it's a complaint, but it could be a plus considering that the machine is not for capsules, which you can buy in smaller quantities, but for ground coffee, which is only available in larger packages).

The apartment looks exactly like in the pictures. You can see the castle from your window. You have glasses and tableware, cooking ware. Really close to the old city. The apartment is in a nice area, 2 minutes away from the presidential palace. The linens were clean and comfortable. The bathroom looks nice.

COMMUNICATION. The owner does not respond on booking chat, at all. You cannot check in earlier than the check in time which is 14:00 o'clock. We had no news about a possible earlier check-in time and no information at all about the regular check-in until 25 minutes before check-in. We got desperate and we called him. Only then we got the details on how to check in. The towels smelled a bit funny when wet. Not saying that they weren't washed, just that not at high temperature. But I did find red hairs in the towels... The bed makes a lot of sounds and screeching. We couldn't sleep on it. It made a sound each time we moved just one bit. We slept on the couch in the living room, instead. You have all you need for coffee, but only decaf. Buy your own coffee. The windows do not open, so no fresh air. (or we couldn't figure out how to open them).

Lovely and thoughtful decorated apartment with the most amazing views to the castle which give it a special flair. Approx 10 min walk to the old town but also with cafes and bars nearby. Quieter neighbourhood and top floor location mean there are no noise disturbances.
