The Penthouse Canterbury - Cathedral View

Beautiful place fully equipped with everything we needed. Great location.

The hosts were amazingly responsive and attentive!!!! Everything was terrific, spotlessly clean, tidy, and not cluttered. Because we had 3 adults traveling together, they made a special trip to make up the near queen size bed from the sectional sofa and to show us it has special storage for extra pillows, sheets, and blankets. Great attention to detail with little touches that made it a welcoming, lovely place to stay. Parking is conveniently close to both the apartment and a great grocery store, so it was easy to get fresh fruit each day for snacking and milk for our tea. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking pots, pans, utensils, and dishes, so instead of breakfast at a restaurant, we purchased what we needed to have a robust breakfast before heading out for the day. It has a great location or wandering around Canterbury and is a short jaunt to visit the Dover Cliffs.

Only suggestion would be to provide a mirror in the bedroom.

Liked the little welcome package and appreciated the provided coffee.

No air conditioner, the apartment was extremely warm. Fan in bedroom was inadequate. There wasn’t any blinds on the upper windows in living area, so the sun cooked the apartment. Odd smell in the living room. Needs grab bars in the shower area, very slippery.

There was plenty of room in this one bedroom, one bathroom flat. The kitchen has a dishwasher and clothes washer. The bathroom was spacious! There is a tiny balcony with an amazing view of the cathedral. There also was a TV in the living room and a fan. The couch is roomy, too!

If you have a lot of luggage just be prepared; you will have to carry it up a lot of stairs.
