Mare Cheia: Beach and Surf Apartment 2

The apartment is very tastefully decorated with nice details. There is a nice view of the ocean from the living room.

The shower was not hot! It was extremely uncomfortable to have to take a cold shower. Sometimes in the morning the water would be warm but in the evenings it was always cold. Also, as others have mentioned, it is a little confusing because the booking states you are in apartment 2 but you are actually in apartment 1.

Unfortunately the floor and the bathroom, especially the toilet were not clean The toilet is not made for more corpulent people ;-)

We loved the location, the appartment itself and the host.

It wasn’t clean enough for my standards, and it was a bit hard to find, because the entrance of both appartment from the main hall is the same.

We spent one week in the smaller apartment. For the 2 of us it was perfect. Stunning view from the balcony and the bedroom window. The flat was fully equipped - even with an electrical orange press and umbrella for the beach. From each room you can listen to the waves crashing at the coastline. Consolação - the village, where the apartment is located - is pretty small, but you can find everything you need (mini markets, restaurants). The beach is just a few meters away from the apartment and is perfect for surf beginners (and probably also advanced surfers). Fillipa (and Nuno) were great hosts - very kind and helpful with any issue we had.

Nice and clean with everything you needed. Cool ceiling windows and terrace.

The living room and bathroom were a little too small.
