Penelope Corfu Suite

The location was ideal for us because we could walk to many places such as Old Town, Mon Repos Palace and Anemomilos Windmill. The apartment is conveniently located near the Bus Stop for 2A, a Taxi Stand, a convenience store, and cafes and restaurants on the seafront. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. Our host, Aris, is fantastic and very helpful. We were grateful for the welcome gifts of water, juice, and biscuits, which were very kind gestures.

We didn't encounter any issues. One improvement suggestion would be to provide umbrellas during the wet season, which would be beneficial for both the host and guests. The kitchen is well-equipped for stove and oven cooking, but it's worth noting that there is no microwave oven.

Penelope Corfu Suite is in a great location: walking distance from the airport (around 10min) but no noise pollution from the planes and walking distance to the old town too (around 20min). There are lots of very nice restaurants nearby as well as a beach. The walk to the old town is pleasant as it's along the seaside and you will find many nice restaurants and cafes on the way. If you have a car you can find parking along the neighbouring streets. The flat itself is very nice, good size rooms and comfortable beds, the outdoor area was very nice too and everything was clean and modern. The beds were comfortable and each room (inc. living room) is fitted with AC. The kitchen is well equipped to cook and we were also able to do laundry. There were some nice thoughtful touches such as orange juice in the fridge, a pack of water etc. We were met by Aris upon arrival to pick up the keys and he was very helpful at answering any questions we had via Whatsapp. Overall a great stay!

The wifi was slightly patchy so perhaps not suitable for people looking to work remotely - but for us it wasn't a problem.

It has an authentic feel to it, it‘s the other side of the bay but still close to the city. Lot‘s of great restaurants nearby and just not that bursting as in the center Host is exceptionally helpful when you need anything

It‘s not to dislike, but for those who are looking for the quietest place, the school in the backyard may come a bit to their dismay… it’s summer holidays from mid June till September in Greece anyway

The apartment was beutiful, well thought of, AC in all rooms. Beutiful location, short 20 minute walk to the old city. A grocery store 2 minute walk from the house. Aris is a very goid host, comunicative and helpfull.

The matterses, we had a hard to have a deep and unobstructed sleep with these uncushind spring matters, please change them and this house will be perfect❤️ A timer for the water heater would be nice
