Apartment Laoura

Well situated near the airport and a short walk to the centre. Helpful host. It felt like a home and the backyard was great to relax in. The host was very responsive when needed.

Walking distance from airport - although busy main road with limited pavement. Loved the local cat - so friendly 😻 All very clean, friendly host, easy 20 minute walk into Corfu town.

Towels need to be a bit bigger, we couldn’t walk out the bathroom until dressed and none of us are big 😆

Very spacious apartment, good location, walking distance from the airport, friendly host

Lots of mosquitoes in the area and not all the windows of the apartment had mosquito nets. There was no foot towel and we got only two big and one hand towel for two adults and one child. Washing machine was full with sheets or something. Does it mean that if you book just for one night you don’t have a right to use washing machine? 😁 We noticed that photos of the apartment differ a little from reality. Like different sofa or there was no big mirror or other interior details which are on the photos. One more thing. We got only one bed prepared for us. The other beds were empty with no pillows, sheets etc. That’s ok, we managed to sleep in one double bed ( 2 adults and a child). But when we booked, it was written that the price is for four adults. So it is not fair. We think that the apartment is oriented to stay just for one night when you have early or late flight.

Sandra -Laoura apartment was amazing! Myself and my family are really happy and thankful to have stayed with her. Besides the apartment being conveniently situated by the airport for our late arrival in Corfu, it was clean, homely and had modern conveniences. The apartment is on 14 mins from the airport by a bus that leaves from right outside departures and costs €2. We arrived at 00:30 and the keys were in the door and everything ready and waiting for us. The next day Sandra saved our life!! We had booked a car for rental early in the morning but the company stood us up, which meant we lost the day trip by boat to Paxos and antipaxos which cost good money. She asked us how we were doing that morning and we explained our situation and straight away she helped us by driving us to the port and talking to the company to help us move our booking, and successfully so! Then she drove us to a luggage storage and proceeded to help us organise a new car rental at the same price that we had wanted to rent our original car! And all of this out of the goodness of her own heart! Sandra is an angel who goes above and beyond!!!

Very big living room,modern style and the kindness of the host.

The location is good if you're planning to go everywhere by bus. It's about a 15 minute walk from the airport, 20-25 minute walk from the city center and 10 minutes away from the main green bus station, from which you can visit the whole island. The apartment is spacious, there are ACs in every room. You can hear the planes when they take off and land, but you get used to the sound fairly quickly. The communication with the owner is more than easy, she is super nice and helpful.

There is little cleaning supplies. There is only one towel for the dishes, no paper towels. There is a cleaning brush for the floors, but no mop, and no chemicals for cleaning of any kind.

Excellent communication with the host. Clean, modern accommodation perfect for our overnight stay but would have been perfect if we’d stayed a few days longer.
