"A perfect base to explore the Norfolk coast and nearby Sandringham."

9.0

The property is in the heart of the village so offers everything within easy walking distance. There is a large Co-op, a Boots, and a Spar within a 5 minute walk. There is also a garden centre, a local tea room / café, a chip shop and a Chinese takeaway all within the same distance. There are 2 local pubs, The Feathers and the Coach and Horses (currently being refurbished) a 10 minute walk away which both offer a welcoming atmosphere and large gardens. The Feathers also serves food in their restaurant. The property itself is on the main road, but this being Norfolk, it's still quiet! There is also a decent privacy fence around the garden that offers some muffling of the infrequent road noise. The master bedroom is large and well equipped with a comfortable bed. The second bedroom has bunkbeds which are definitely suited to children or small adults. All furniture is in excellent condition and all electricals work perfectly. We were even left some milk, teabags, coffee, sugar and cookies for when we arrived. These were very welcome after our drive. The flat has pretty much everything we needed whilst there plus a few things we didn't realise we would need such as Sellotape and nutcrackers. Our host was wonderful. They kept in touch from when we first booked all the way to the time we left. I will definitely visit this property again and recommend it to friends.

One downside is that there is no parking on the property so you will have to park on the road outside. There is always a space, so this in itself is not a problem but it would be nice to be able to load and unload the car on-site.

"Would definitely recommend and come again 100%"

Very homely, lovely extra touches, everything that was needed was there. Perfect for a weekend

Upstairs neighbour dropped a coin and gave us a fright but apart from that there was nothing to dislike

A great apartment next door (or almost) to a decent Spar supermarket with everything you need - although we didn't need much because the apartment came well stocked with the basics, including breakfast cereals and choc-chip cookies! Dersingham is also close to a number of attractions, with the CoastRider bus stop nearby so easy to get wherever you want.

The road outside can be noisy, but that's an acceptable trade off for the location and amenities

cereals were provided - unusual in a rented property - and welcome!

Nothing really, except it would be helpful to turn off the bedside light without having to get out of bed

"The flat itself was clean, close to all we needed, Unfortunately too noisy so would not stay again."

7.0

Property was spotlessly clean. Great breakfast left in the property. Milk and bread. Great for so many locations, Sandringham on the doorstep. Wells, ride out to seals. Lavender. Too many to mention them all.

Lights beside bed! My light did not work, still no good as had to get out of bed to turn it off, needs to work and have switch beside bed. Noise from flat upstairs. Very noisy road. No parking ever on other side of road had to take car down a road further down which was a walk for my husband who has kidney failure.
