"Pingle Nook Guesthouse"

Lovely accomodation, beautifully decorated, cozy and clean with all the things you need for a holiday get away with Walks from the doorstep. There were 4 of us and our dog. The hosts were very accommodating, providing a large crate.

A hidden gem in a tranquil, picturesque location with everything you need close to hand. Hosts Penny and Jonno are friendly, welcoming and informative. Would recommend to all and will not hesitate to stay again.

Very peaceful and quiet location. The property was very clean and had everything we needed, and has been done to an excellent standard. The location is fantastic and within walking distance to amenities. Penny and Jonno were fantastic hosts and were very welcoming.

"Perfect…. We will be back and recommending to friends and family"

Absolutely perfect! Clean, lovely decor, no expense spared with comfort. Extremely clean and well equipped kitchen. Felt like a home from home. The chickens were a real bonus and the children loved spending time with them and the excitement of looking for fresh eggs every morning.

There was nothing not to like and can’t imagine anyone would find anything it’s perfect!

"Exceptional"

The stone walls are rock solid and made us feel safe and cosy. It had a warm atmosphere, well equipped And ideally placed. It is 10 min away from the Yorkshire sculpture trail. The hosts were lovely and helpful.

We loved the property , couldn’t fault it at all . Bed was very comfy . Surroundings were lovely , and very quiet . There was everything we needed in the property and very thoughtful touches . Hope to stay again . Thank you to Penny and Jonno .

"If you are looking for a gem of a place to stay, look no further."

Pingle Nook Barn was the perfect stay for us. It was very spacious with plenty of room to relax in after a long day exploring. The Barn was very clean and everything that we could possibly need was there already including the breakfast eggs which we were able to collect each morning when we went out to feed the chickens. A very nice touch! The bed was very comfortable and my wife probably got the best nights sleep that she has had in a long time. There was also a very nice pub/restaurant within walking distance called The Dunkirk which we got a fabulous meal at which I would recommend to anyone staying at Pingle Nook Barn. The hosts were lovely and easy to get on with and were always close by if we did happen to need anything from them. Pingle Nook Barn is the perfect place to stay and I have already started recommending it to friends and family.

"Peace and tranquillity in a beautiful setting..."

We were self catering everything was easy and comfortable... Perhaps the only EXTREMELY minor issue with the facilities, it would benefit from a double sink/drainer so the dishwasher wouldn't be required other than on change over... And maybe again VERY MINOR, a washing up sponge / scourer sponge... The property and location are exceptional, close enough to everything you may wish for in a rural setting, but oozing with charm, comfort and peacefulness... The hosts are very attentive, but leave you alone to enjoy your stay... Perfect!
