Harbour Inn Appartments

This is an outstanding property and is our second trip to this property. The bedrooms and linen were very clean and the beds comfortable. The bathroom was equally clean and the kitchen well equipped. We hoovered daily to keep our living area pristine and there are utensils to do this. It is a short walk away from the Harbour Inn its self where the meals are fantastic. I’m not sure who did the cooking I think it may have been the owner, but it was lovely, and was the only place I got a steak cooked perfectly to my liking. The bar staff were all very friendly. The menus was comprehensive with a good selection of dishes. They also had a no alcoholic beer, (I don’t drink,) which was much appreciated. The property accepts well behaved pets and the next time here I will have my dog in tow. It is a great location from which to explore this part of Bonnie Galloway. I was on call during my time here, which required internet connection and this is available in the flat and it works very well.

The oven requires cleaning as the maid has ignored it. This is my only gripe.

Location was lovely pub meal in the evening was good. Would have liked to see more starters to share. Thought £1 for a pack of crisps somewhat high. Breakfast was good

hostess sometimes did not give a welcoming vibe felt we were a nuisance. Asked us why we were not self catering. Extractor and light switch did not work properly. The apartment was for four but there was not enough crockery or cutlery. Same for lack of glass wear.

We had a lovely stay, easy comfortable flat, perfect location, pet friendly, great for a short stay

One minor thing there was no welcome instructions for using the facilities eg; TV etc but we managed anyway

it was comfortable, clean and really good value for money

carpet was warn out and could do with replacement but everything else was really good and it wouldn’t put me off staying again.

Large rooms, comfy beds, good shower, all basics catered for and more besides. Definitely exceeded expectations. Harbour Inn just a few steps away, great meal but tables need to be reserved, the place is so popular! Couldn’t have asked for more, very happy with stay.

Very basic but very comfortable. Perfect touring base. Detached from the pub, but near enough for ease. Location oh so pretty.

The wall heaters were very difficult to regulate and the lighting throughout the property was much too bright. A lamp or two would be a gooood idea.
