Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Der riesige Balkon bietet einen wunderschönen Blick auf den See. Der Service durch den Vermieter ist perfekt.

Die Wohnung könnte etwas freundlicher gestaltet sein z.B. durch Bilder an den Wänden. Das Sofa ist mittlerweile alt und die Federn drücken durch.

Die Lage

Außergewöhnliche Lage mit einem wunderbaren Blick auf den See.

This is a modern apartment with great views of the area. We picked up the keys from the agent's office in Luino. The apartment is easy to find & get to, although it's up above the town & the road up is quite steep towards the end. There's a sign, which is helpful, as the building itself is on a private road, with a gate. The area feels secure. The apartment is on the top floor of the building and has its own private parking area (again with a gate), its own entrance & stairs. The stairs up open out onto a balcony/terrace that goes around almost the entire of the apartment. The apartment itself has a second entrance leading to the living room with a sofa, TV & table for six. The kitchen is a separate room & quite spacious. There's a table, a fridge, sink, cooker & plenty of plates, cutlery, etc. The living room has a big sliding door to the balcony/terrace, plus a door to the back; the kitchen has doors to the balcony/terrace front & back. From the living room there's a corridor leading to 3 bedrooms & 2 washrooms (shower, WC, sink). The first two bedrooms have bunk beds, door & window to the balcony. The main bedroom at the end has a double bed & door to the balcony. It's comfortable for six people. Everything is clean, tidy & working. All the doors & windows have mosquito nets plus electric, roll-down shutters. We didn't notice any mosquitos (middle of May). The apartment is in the town of Germignaga, while Luino is another town directly on the other side of a river, where there's a big Carrefour supermarket. Luino has a promenade, with a pleasant cafe, park area & playground by the water. There's a ferry to Cannero, which is a quiet, pretty & touristic village. We enjoyed our stay.

Check in was easy. The accommodation is completely new, safe, modern, equipped with everything you need to stay there. Beautiful view of Lago Maggiore. Nice big terrace. Due to its location, it is easier to arrive by car.

It was very hot when we were there and in the apartment was 27-28 degrees in the evening, and it always cooled down in the morning. I recommend installing air conditioning.

Location was great

Leave the Key in the flat would be easier on days when it is market:-) Second door chip would be great because of the gates.
