Location is the main benefit here. The apartment itself was nice, had all that you need to live there as a tourist. Markets were nearby so it was easy to relax in the city and stay overnight in the apartment - make dinner, breakfast, wash clothes, etc.

It is really, really noisy. Windows are very thin and if you go there then be prepared that you will be basically sleeping next to an open window facing the street where people are already working very early in the morning. Walls are also quite thin so you can hear neighbors all the time. But this is honestly the only problem that I did experience here.

Bed uncomfortable 😔 Checking in process needs overhauling, received countless messages from hosts requesting me to input personal details and pay in advance. Some felt like scam messages which I reported to Booking.com. Due to these complications, I only got my key code and details after my plane landed, which was quite a stressful experience.

Good location

Outrageous customer service -when you call them each time you speak with different person, they don't know anything about your reservation or the apartment. You get redirected to someone else - same thing happens. They also promised multiple times that someone will call me - no one did. Wort booking/airbnb experience I've ever had. Furniture in apratment is very uncomfortable - very stiff bed, uncomfortable chairs etc. I strongly advise against renting this place if you want to relax. But if you want to make many calls and be frustrated then go ahead with them.

Stayed and worked from there for 1 month, great Internet and you find everything what you need in the Apartment. Great value for money. Very close to the beach.

Great location, just a few minutes' walk from Las Canteras. Even if you are out for a day trip, you can easily head for the beach for a quick dip after returning. At the beach promenade (and in the streets around it), there are also lots of restaurants to choose from. At the same time, the kitchen is equipped with basically everthing you need for cooking yourself, including some things that are rather rarely found in rental apartments, like a cheese grater, a toaster, and even a stick blender. If some basics like salt, pepper, oil, and vinegar were be provided, the kitchen would be perfect. The room itself also provides enough space without feeling cramped: The kitchen is by the window, and the bed at the far end of the room (next to a huge cupboard), with a comfortable sofa (and a TV, but only with Spanish channel) in between. Next to the TV, there is also a small table for e.g. a laptop, in case you also have to work. When removing the drawer under it, you can also sit at this table when you are 6'4 tall. ;-)

There are no curtains, only blinds. These let through quite some light (though with the bed being at the other side of the room, this was not too much a problem at night). Also, they do not manage to block the sunlight that efficiently, which led to the apartment being quite hot on sunny afternoons. However, it cools down quickly after 6 p.m. or so (in mid-October, at least). The biggest drawback, however, is definitely the bed: The mattress is just too hard. If it had not been for that, I would have given full marks for this apartment.
