Old Town Studios, Corfu

Views were good. Location was good. The balconies and terrace were good. Very spacious. Nice of hosts to provide a large bottle of water in fridge. Good communication from hosts.

Property was VERY dated and felt a little dingy. Located above restaurants - sometimes weird smells from below and could be a bit noisy at night time. Glasses provided in kitchen were not clean - e.g. lipstick stains. The hairdryer provided was broken. The toilet/bathroom situation was very strange - the one in the main area was so small they had to cut the door for it to open passed the sink. Getting to the bathroom upstairs was awkward and you had to make sure you didn't lock yourself out. You had to lock/unlock three different doors to reach the apartment - this system made it slightly complex to leave the apartment on the final day by leaving the keys in the apartment.

At night it was very very noisy until 2am . There is a very popular bar under the bedroom window

A lovely lady met us at the apartment to hand over the keys and let us know the information about the area and the property. The apartment has everything you need but needs updating. The roof terrace is an added bonus

The bed was very uncomfortable, there were some issues with some of the electrics, they didn't seem safe. Some of the furniture is very tired and has rips in one of the chairs in the lounge. It could definitely do with being updated.

My girlfriend and I stayed from September 15 to 18 in this apartment in Corfu, and it was one of the worst experiences we have ever had. This apartment must be avoided at all costs. On the second night, we discovered many bed bugs in the room (see attached photos). Upon arrival, we noticed that the bed was 15 cm from the wall, which was already strange. We also found black spots on the sheets that were clearly bed bug excrement. This is completely unacceptable! After the discovery, I immediately contacted the hosts, Anastatia & Spiros. To our surprise, he accused us of bringing in the bed bugs. This was utterly ridiculous, considering the stains on the sheets and the various places under the mattress with both living and dead bed bugs, indicating that this problem had existed for much longer. We called and he offered us a refund of 160 euros, but that was not an acceptable solution. It was already 11:30 PM, and we urgently needed a place to sleep. After a long discussion, we tried to find a hotel 10 minutes away, Hotel Europa, but we were hesitant due to the bad reviews we had read about that hotel and did not want to take the risk again. During our discussion, I proposed that Spiros refund us 210 euros (130 euros for the first night at Hotel Europa and 80 euros for a second stay). He abruptly blocked this proposal, leading to a hard but formal discussion. To my great surprise, he suddenl raised his voice and became very aggressive while threatening to refuse the refund if we wrote a review. This kind of behavior is absolutely unacceptable and shows a total lack of respect for his guests. We had to take a taxi to the new hotel at 3 AM, which cost us a total of 280 euros. Additionally, we had to wash all our clothes the next day for another 30 euros. This brings our total to 310 euros, while we only received 210 euros back from Spiros.

The location was good. It had a larger than normal patio/balcony. Extra pillow and towels if needed. Good shower

It needs to be a bit cleaner. The cutlery drawers. The glasses in the cupboards weren’t very clean. The items in the The freezer section had pink water in the trays. The patio had a broken large fabric parasol lying on the floor. It just needs a really good clean.. hair dryer didn’t work. We didn’t mind so much but loud music from bars until 12-1am but some people may mind .

Great location in old town, large comfortable apartment with a private patio overlooking the fortress, easy key collection, working AC and wifi

Phenomenal location of the apartment. Everywhere can be reached on foot. Spaciousness and a beautiful terrace with a view of the new fortress.

Some of the appliances, such as the air conditioner in the living room, were not functioning. Additionally, several kitchen appliances were either unsuitable for use or poorly maintained.
